Organize Neighbors Day near you

Saturday 25 September it's Neighbors Day again. A day for meeting, seeing each other, helping and doing something together. On Neighbors Day, the Oranjefonds and Douwe Egberts want to bring as many neighbors as possible into contact with each other. Why? Because neighborhoods become more fun, more social and safer when neighbors meet, help each other and work together for the neighbourhood. In 2021 we will celebrate Neighbors Day on September 25th.
Make up an activity
For example, organize a neighborhood bingo, build and decorate bird boxes together, help each other with odd jobs or gardening, organize a baking competition, organize a mini concert or drink a cup of coffee or tea together. It doesn't have to be very big, meeting starts with getting to know each other.
Request a contribution
Until August 16, you can request a financial contribution from the Oranje Fonds for your activity.
