Code of conduct

Through this platform you can easily get in touch with each other to mean something to each other or the world. To do that, safety is very important. Therefore, the following rules of conduct apply to the use of this platform.

  • Everyone is welcome. Anyone can place a call or respond.
  • Give respect . You get that from us through your participation on this platform because asking or offering something is brave. Give this respect to each other, both on the platform and beyond.
    • Do you disagree, is there no connection or is there a misunderstanding? We are happy to think along with you.
    • Unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, invasive of another's privacy, or otherwise objectionable conduct is not permitted.   • Honest and open. We expect everyone to put or provide the correct information in their profile. Posting material that is not yours, that causes harm, is defamatory or is otherwise objectionable is not permitted.

  • Make a positive impact . This platform exists to make a difference in a positive way. This can be done in many different ways: from a buddy to a climate action to volunteer work for a foundation in your neighborhood. Good to know:
    • Commercial activities outside the legally permitted volunteer compensation and expenses incurred are not permitted.
    • Do you really think a call or response is not okay? Please report it to us via the 'Report to helpdesk' button or contact us .
    • Is it just not your thing? Then respond with a polite rejection.

✋Breach of the rules of conduct

We actively monitor our rules of conduct while respecting everyone's privacy. In addition, anyone can report (suspected) violations of the rules of conduct or general terms and conditions to our helpdesk colleagues.

In the event of a violation of the rules, we take immediate and proactive action to ensure everyone's safety . When we believe there is a material risk of unsafe or unpleasant situations, we will remove all content and accounts. If necessary, we also work together with organizations and our local partners.
